Open G Tuning
A 12 string might seem a little confusing to newbie guitarists, but once you explore a little, you’ll find it really exhilarating. The 12-stringed guitarworks in pairs. Each string has a pair that’s tuned identically. So with Open G on a 12-string, you’ll have 2 Ds, 2 Gs, 2 Ds again, 2 Gs again, then 2 Bs, and finally 2 Ds. To make it simple, instead of six strings, it has six pairs of strings.

The legendary band Led Zeppelin used this tuning on a 12-string guitar to compose the song ‘That’s the way.’ The song has such a soothing impact on the listener. Another fun fact, after I wrote the fun fact above, I jumped to Youtube only to listen to the Classic mentioned above!
